This is a beginner to intermediate level stranded colourwork beanie toque pattern that uses up to six different colours of DK weight yarn.
This toque pattern is designed to use some scraps from up to 5 skeins of yarn and one larger portion for the sky. You can feel free to decrease the number of different colours to what you prefer or what you have available from previous projects. The pattern is designed to be knit in the round and chart instructions for the colourwork sections are included.
This toque design is intended to look like the sea wall path and then ocean waves crashing and the inspiration comes from James Bay in Victoria, BC.
The pattern includes instructions for an adult medium size toque. Other size options have not been included at this time; however, the pattern can be adjusted to fit different size heads by adjusting the yarn or needles to obtain a different gauge.
The pattern is intended for personal use only.
